Home Court Spring Saturdays 2017
Just as my child was getting the hang of playing basketball and showing real improvement, the season was over!
Can’t the season be extended?
We heard you and yes, there’s more basketball.
The Safe Haven West Side Basketball League has scheduled additional weeks of professional basketball instruction and scrimmaging. There are two distinct programs:
Peak Performance: for players in middle and high school
A challenging program for experienced players who want to take their game to the next level.
Note: Players ages 11 and 12 may select either program
Building on the Basics: for players ages 8 to 11
Each session will focus on the fundamental skills of basketball—passing, ball handling, offense, defense, shooting, teamwork and more—followed by scrimmaging.
Saturdays May 6, 13, 20*, June 3, June 10
Peak Performance: 11:30 am – 1:30 pm.
Building on the Basics: 2:00 pm – 4:00 pm
PS 163, West 97th Street between Columbus and Amsterdam
*due to a school event, the May 20 session will be located at PS 84 on West 92nd St. between Columbus and Central Park West.
